We noticed the advantage of this product while testing it for this Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra Review. It is the amount of space available for printing compared to other products. Its build volume is 218.88 × 122.88 × 260mm, with a longer and higher print bed.
The main highlight of this 3D printer is the 54mm LCD with 12K resolution. It has a 9H tempered glass protector for protection, allowing the 3D printer to produce prints with crisp detail. If you have used a 4K or 8K 3D printer, you will notice a significant difference in quality.
As for the design of the Saturn 3 Ultra, it is sleek and elegant with its all-metal body and black lid. This darker UV cover is more efficient in filtering UV light and preserving the optimal state of the resin you use for printing.
You will find the on/off switch and WiFi dongle on the right towards the front for easier access. The cap on the rear is for installing an extractor system.
Increased Speed
Another improvement made on the Saturn 3 Ultra is the speed. It uses a new type of film instead of the standard FEP sheet. As a result, you can peel the model off the print bed faster to decrease your print time.
Aside from changing the film, Elegoo increased the speed of the Saturn 3 Ultra, allowing it to print at 150mm/h. This blistering speed is three times faster than its predecessor, the Saturn 2.

Precise and Steady Printing
Aside from high speeds, the Saturn 3 Ultra offers precise and steady printing performance. The Z-axis has a built-in ball screw and dual linear guide rail for ultra-steady and accurate movement. It also reduces layer texture on final prints when printing at 150mm/h speeds.
The four-point levelling system has four clockwise-tightening screws for easy alignment. It eliminates repeated levelling, and you only need to do it once. It is a convenient feature that also offers optimal performance.
The Saturn 3 Ultra also has a laser-engraved build plate to provide excellent adhesion to hold models tightly while printing. It also offers easy removal of models when you finish printing.
Superb Printing Experience
This 3D printer adopts a cooling fan and double heat-conducting copper tubes for efficient heat dissipation. These ensure optimal performance and extended service life.
T also has a plug-in air purifier with an activated carbon filter for eliminating resin odour while printing. It also has a USB socket for dual USB air purifiers. You can also use the Elegoo Mars MATE air purifiers (purchased separately) for 95% VOC purification efficiency.
Integrated Air Purifier
Despite the numerous improvements, the Saturn 3 Ultra still emits fumes during operation. To solve this issue, Elegoo added a built-in air purifier to minimise the fumes. It is an excellent feature if health risks associated with resin printing concern you.
Although it has an integrated air purifier, we recommend following specific precautions like wearing a respirator.
10.16cm HD Touchscreen
The Saturn 3 Ultra has a 10.16mm HD IPS touchscreen with 800 x 480px resolution. It also has a new UI design with multilingual support for added convenience.
