Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Packaging

The product ships in a durable box that safeguards everything during transit. You will not have to worry about anything getting damaged, and the speaker will arrive intact.
There is not much inside the package. Once you unbox it, you will only find the Nashville Bluetooth speaker and a 3m USB-C cable inside.
Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review – Design and Functionality
Nashville comes in only one colour, which is a premium black shade. It measures 3.1 x 7.0 x 3.2in (HxWxD) and weighs 2.4 lbs.
While observing it for our Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review, we took note of its front and rear sections. These have perforated metallic grilles plus cloth grilles underneath.
Internally, its dual 2.25-inch drivers work with dual passive bass radiators, giving a frequency range of 60Hz to 20kHz. Even with dual drivers, Nashville delivers mono audio. It means the same audio exits the rear and front grilles.

The company likely figured that any sense of separation from a small speaker would be minimal. So, this setup will not be a drawback like it would be for bigger models.
You can pair Nashville with Klipsch speakers featuring the Broadcast mode by simultaneously holding down the volume and Bluetooth buttons. Interestingly, you can link up to 10 other devices via this method. However, you cannot assign left and right audio channels if you connect another Nashville Bluetooth speaker.
The speaker has an IP67 rating, making it fully dustproof. You can also submerge it in water for up to 30 minutes at depths reaching 1m.
Controls, Ports, and LED Indicators
Let us begin this Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review with information about its design, functions, and build. You will notice the Klipsch logo at its centre front, with ripple contours defining its corners and sides.
Its right portion houses a USB-C port featuring a snap-shut cover. With the USB-C to C cable, you can use it for charging other products up to 10W. You will also find an elevated wave-like pattern along its base, which helps keep Nashville stable on flat surfaces.
The top of this speaker houses Bluetooth, power, and volume buttons. You will also find the battery and LED status indicators in this area.
We also noticed that Nashville does not have a dedicated play/pause button. Instead, you can play or pause music using the Bluetooth button.

Hands-on with the Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker
When we tested the product for this Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review, we also navigated the Klipsch Connect Plus. Aside from sharing our user experience, we will provide a quick guide on how to use the app.
The Klipsch Connect Plus app is the companion app of Nashville, and it works with Android and iOS. It is a simple yet intuitive software that allows standard playback control with any music app. You can adjust volume levels, play/pause audio, skip to the previous or next track, and download firmware updates.
The most handy feature of this app is the equaliser with five presets by default: vocal, treble, bass, and rock. Plus, you can customise by setting your preferred bass, midrange, and treble using the sliders. Although you can only customise three bands, they significantly affect the sound signature of Nashville.
Tapping the Flat button provides access to the equaliser. The name of this button changes when you change the preset.
In the Settings section, you can toggle numerous function sounds, download firmware updates, or perform a factory reset. You can also mute notifications to prevent music interruptions during your pool parties. The Help section offers a quick start guide and a manual.
Audio is the most crucial factor when choosing the best speaker. Our Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review will discuss its performance to help you determine if it will meet your needs.
We used the default or flat equaliser preset for our first tests to see how well it would perform out of the box. We also used the default sound profiles on our connected devices and music apps.
The Nashville speaker offered excellent audio quality at reasonable volume levels (6 to 7 out of 16). It did not distort the sound when set at the maximum volume level. Plus, it retained the energetic sub-bass and mid-range.
We were impressed with the separation between instruments and vocals since these elements were audible in this mono-speaker. When used in a small home office, it had a sense of height with sufficient impact when playing live tracks.
The bass was natural and defined with the neutral EQ preset but lacked impact when listening to modern dance tracks. The speaker delivered a dynamic mid-range response, offering reproduced vocals and guitars. Its upper-frequency range was not limited and reproduced hi-hats accurately.
When we listened to orchestral tracks, we loved the bright and crisp audio with a boost in the low-register instrumentation. The higher-register vocals, brass, and strings were more prominent in these tracks and took centre stage. Fortunately, the presentation of instruments is adjustable via the in-app equaliser.
The built-in microphone of the Nashville offered excellent intelligibility despite being a tiny pinhole on the top panel. We conducted test recordings and were impressed with the clarity since we had no trouble understanding every word we spoke.
Klipsch Nashville Bluetooth Speaker Review Summary
