Before discussing the product performance, our Corsair Nightsabre Wireless Mouse Review will focus on the iCUE software.
iCUE is the companion software of the Nightsabre Wireless for customising a range of mouse settings. You can create up to five personalised profiles and save these in the onboard memory. Switching between these saved settings is convenient since the Nightsabre WIreless has a
With iCUE, you can set button assignments and customise each RGB zone. You can also store up to five profiles with different button settings, DPI levels, etc.
The DPI has five adjustment levels and a sniper mode. We recommend adjusting this to maximise the potential of Nightsabre Wireless. Also, the resolution of this mouse is only set to 3200 DPI in the factory, which is only a fraction of its capabilities.
Aside from surface calibration, iCUE software offers many additional device settings. Overall, it is a tidy interface with versatile adjustment options.
Performance of the Corsair Nightsabre Wireless Mouse
The Nightsabre was excellent in most cases since it performed as it should. Its primary buttons were all responsive since they use the Quickstrike feature from Corsair. It offers zero gaps between the instantaneous optical switches and main buttons, while clicks and shots become quicker and more efficient.
Additionally, the Marksman 26K DPI sensor does the job and delivers excellent tracking speeds.
The sensor exhibits top-notch responsiveness without obvious interpolation or angle snapping, making it ideal for our gaming requirements. With a maximum DPI of 3200, we did not have to go beyond for an optimal experience.
Moreover, the wireless connection performed flawlessly, leaving us without complaints about latency or responsiveness. The sensor performs as expected, showing no signs of interpolation or angle snapping.
Additionally, the Quickstrike buttons have spring-loaded features and offer instantaneous optical switches. With these, there were no gaps between the primary buttons.
Its movements registered adequately, and we did not experience undesirable incidents during tests or gaming. The instances we speak of include pointers moving by themselves, etc. Additionally, it also has high-level precision.
Because of the Slipstream Wireless, there was barely any latency when using the keyboard with the USB-A dongle.
In Bluetooth mode, our PC and laptop recognised the mouse immediately.
Its grip is excellent, and its symmetrical shape allows for better comfort and use. So even if some of us who tried the mouse had larger hands, the mouse still felt comfortable. Simply put, the form and style of this mouse can accommodate most hand sizes and grips.
For non-stop use, its battery life was excellent and was close to the advertised results of the mouse. With heavy use without the lighting and Bluetooth, we reached 80 hours. Then via the 2.4GHz Slipstream without RGBs, the mouse lasted for around 50 hours.
