We were excited to receive our package for our Jabra Elite 3 Wireless Headphones review. And when we got our hands on it, we saw how premium and neat its package appeared.
The Elite 3 came in a clean-looking white cardboard box that showcased the headphones in front. We saw Jabra’s branding on the upper-left corner of the box while the headphones’ name was on the lower-right corner.
Additional information on the product could be seen on the sides and the rear portion of the box.
Opening the box, the Elite 3 headphones came with other items like three differently-sized ear tips, and the charging case. There was also a USB-C to A charging cable and the usual manuals for use.

While inspecting the product for this Jabra Elite 3 Wireless Headphones review, we noticed its unique teardrop design. It’s pretty cool and looks good with a modest logo of Jabra on each headphone. These come in four different colours and you can choose from Lilac, Light Beige, Dark Grey, and Navy.
Its design is similar to the Jabra Elite 75t and Elite 85, plus it doesn’t stand out for its looks. Instead, it stands out because of its comfy and snug fit thanks to the rounded ear tips.
It comes with a discreet-looking charging case featuring Jabra’s logo and one LED light for visual aesthetics.
The carrying case is also pretty well-made since it comes with a magnet for holding the headphones in place. There’s also one LED light inside to easily see the battery’s status.
Instead of touch controls, you’ll find physical buttons on the Elite 3. This reduces the risk of pressing the wrong thing while you’re on the move.
One press on the left headphone switches HearThrough on/off while double-pressing lets you access the voice assistant. If you’re using an Android device, you can remap the controls to start Spotify to play your favourite tunes. Then to lower the volume, you simply need to press and hold.
The right headphone lets you play/pause audio with a single press. Double pressing lets you skip to the next audio while triple pressing lets you restart/move to the previous track. Then, pressing and holding the right headphone increases the volume.
You can press any of the two to answer calls or mute/unmute the mic while in a call. Then, double press either headphone to end and reject calls.

We checked the product’s specs for our Jabra Elite 3 Wireless Headphones review. Here, we learned it’s a perfectly-sized pair for your ears with speakers that measure 6mm.
Its speaker bandwidth is 20Hz to 20kHz on music mode, while speak mode is at 100 Hz to 8kHz. The audio codecs it supports include Qualcomm aptX and SBC. Plus, it has a 4x MEMs mic with a 100Hz to 8kHz bandwidth.

Jabra Sound+ App
Before we get into the performance part of this Jabra Elite 3 Wireless Headphones review, let’s discuss its Sound+ app. Use this to enjoy extra features as well as make the initial pairing process easier.
The app itself is pretty simple plus it allows you to toggle HearThrough mode and update the headphones’ firmware. It lets you arrange EQ presents below or above the HearThrough window and it even brings Spotify integration. Additionally, it lets you set the voice assistant to Alexa instead of the built-in assistant on your Android phone.
Audio Quality
Now, let’s focus on its audio quality. The Elite 3 does have an adequate bass-rich profile which gave us extra body but didn’t overwhelm our mixes.
We wanted to try a different sound, and its companion app offered several EQ presets to use. These helped us adjust the sound based on our preferences which was great.
Its frequency response was excellent and consistent, though there were some deviations in the treble’s delivery. But once we got an airtight seal, we were able to enjoy consistent treble and bass delivery. The Elite 3’s call quality was great, and that also goes for its passive noise isolation.
Battery Life and Connectivity
Despite not having any wireless charging support, its battery performance doesn’t disappoint. And just like what Jabra promised, we were able to get seven hours of playtime from the headphones.
As for the case, it was able to hold enough juice for three extra recharges. So, we were able to get up to 28 hours before it needed topping up. Its fast charge was also efficient since it gave us an hour of playback for a 10-minute charge.
Connecting to Bluetooth was smooth and we didn’t experience any drop-outs when using the Elite 3. The connection was stable the whole time even when we attempted to move away from our smartphone for a bit.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 3 was a super reliable product and it performed just like what the company claimed.
